For the project I have been working on, I have been making great strides in my progress, however I am still not yet finished with it, so I may not be able to meet some of the criteria on the blog post's rubric. I am however, going to discuss my use of color in my project. You see, while I might have gotten my color pallet as a whole from individual drawings I had made prior to this assignment, that didn't mean I didn't have to think of which pallet I chose and why. Let's get the easier of the two out of the way first. The alien/mech's color pallet was based of my Rouge drawing, which it's main subject (and where I got most of the colors from) is an alien and mech hybrid. The colors were already thought of when I did the original drawing, so there's not much I can say about that. Now as for the hero character we were designing, I chose my Night Glow as a frame of reference for the color pallet. Although my Night Glow piece was originally designed to look fierce and mildly curious looking, that was mainly due to the positioning of the body and simply the fact that it was not human. When the colors were translated to the hero's outfit however, you get something far more noble and heroic looking. I can't really think of a good conclusion to this, nor can I share with you the final product because I'm still working on it.
