The first thing that I need to talk about is the principles of design, or more specificlay, where they apply in a game's box art. For this topic, (because I'm a huge nerd) I have chosen the box art for sun and moon. Now, the first thing I need to discuss is how these two legendaries look. The games themselves are two different things, but other than the legendary and a few exllusive pokemon, they are basicly the same. I mentioned the different games because in a sense, they are two halves of a whole. Not to mention, this is a way of creating pokemon box art that existed even when the origional gold and silver games were created. Another thing that is nessicary to point out is the contrasting colors of the box and the legendaries themselves. Blue is the opposite of orange, and many times thought of as being the colors of night and day. As for balence, the two legendaries are off center a small bit opposite to the direction they're facing, making it look informal, however, the titles of the games are completely centered (aside from the sun or moon mark next to the names) giving it a formal look. In a way, these two factors of balance effectively cancel echother out.
Now, as for my

The hypothesis our group came to is a combination of the following factors: during the winter and fall months, the outdoors are substantially colder than the indoor buildings. Another hypothesis that could also be proven valid in this experiment is the notion that the different wings or sections of the buildings on the school campus could have differing temperatures, however this hypothesis will probably be solved by another group’s research due to the fact that we were mainly focused on the former and not the latter. We came to the agreement that the indoor rooms would be warmer due to buildings typically having forms of isolation and heating. Our purpose is to see who is treating us better, the janitorial staff (Which is probably so based on our error analysis) or Mother Nature herself.
The materials consist of nothing more than a phone and a temperature recording device, in our case it was a Texas instruments sensor tag. The methods used to collect this information are rather simple, one must only survey the locations they wish to collect data from, and record their findings projected on the phone the sensor is connected to. For the best results, set the temperature to your country’s standard temperature units, and be sure that the sensor is only collecting its data once every two seconds, otherwise the data becomes needlessly difficult to record. time Location Temprature 10:33 boy's A building 21.5 10:34 C building gym 10:36 girl's A building 26.1 10:37 A building stairwell 24.3 10:38 cafiteria C 20.4 10:42 Black box 22.6 10:43 G building basement 25.3 10:45 Atrium 24.8 10:45 boy's G basement 24.8 10:48 cafeteria D 22.8 10:48 student services 21 10:49 D building hall 23.5 10:51 main gym 21.4 Location temperature average 23.2 time location temprature 10:46 court yard 22.1 10:24 T 2 25 10:30 Track area 25.1 10:39 tennis court 24.2 _____ location temprature average 24.1 type of location percentages indoor locations 76.47% outdoor locations 23.53% location temperature (In Celsius) time inside or outside C building gym 20.4 C 10:34 inside cafeteria C 22.6 C 10:38 inside Black box 24.8 C 10:42 inside Atrium 22.8 C 10:45 inside court yard 22.1 C 10:46 outside cafeteria D 21.4 C 10:48 inside main gym 21.5 C 10:51 inside T 2 25.0 C 10:24 outside Track area 25.1 C 10:30 outside boy's A building 26.1 C 10:33 inside girl's A building 24.3 C 10:36 inside A building stairwell 25.3 C 10:37 inside tennis court 24.2 C 10:39 outside G building basement 24.8 C 10:43 inside boy's G basement 21.0 C 10:45 inside student services 23.5 C 10:48 inside D building hall 23.2 C 10:49 inside There is no truly good way to determine if our hypothesis was correct due to the many different factors at work. The sensor tag began to lose its power at around halfway through the experiment, making the data collected slightly incorrect. Another factor that might have come into play was the weather which was rather fickle at the time. One last point I would like to discuss is the fact that there are few outside locations that were recorded compared to inside locations, and not as much data means not as accurate of an average. |
